THE King’s Speech superb acting. I was 11 years old when this drama was taking place. I remember the song children used to sing on our way to school “Whose that walking down the street Mrs Simpson’s great big feet; she’s been married twice before, now she’s knocking on our King’s door.”
I am writing this letter to say what spoilt the afternoon for me, and from remarks from others was how loud the sound was for the advertisements all 15 minutes of it.
I noticed this when I went before to the Greenbridge cinema, and it really put me off going.
If anyone has a hearing aid they can switch it off. Regular patrons will soon need one having to put up with the volume. Soon damage the eardrums.
The cinema was only half full. Has this put people off of going?
