OLDER people's charity WRVS would like to highlight the fantastic contribution that younger volunteers make to society and the role they play in helping to make Britain a great place to grow old.
Student Volunteering Week 2011 takes place from February 21 to February 27 and WRVS is urging all young people to come forward and take the plunge by volunteering a few hours each week.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your local community and it can change your life for the better whatever your age, and you can pick up some great skills and experiences.
