THE CLiP Committee and I would like to publicly thank Councillor Andy Harrison, one of our Penhill ward councillors for his most generous donation of £1,000 towards youth activities at the John Moulton Hall.
Despite other councillors opposing his motion to reduce councillors allowances by 15 per cent, Andy has once again shown that he truly believes in putting his money where his mouth is and has donated the equivalent amount back into his local community.
This money will go a long way to helping Community and Learning in Penhill provide much needed activities in Penhill and Andy has our most grateful thanks.
