I would like to ask any Swindon Advertiser readers who fancy a challenge to consider running the Flora London Marathon 2007 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Last year Marie Curie Nurses cared for 16,530 seriously-ill cancer patients in their own homes, providing 900,000 free hours of nursing care.
By running the Flora London Marathon for Marie Curie Cancer Care, you will be helping us provide practical support for people with cancer and their families at a very tough time.
Completing a marathon is a tremendous achievement and one that will stay with you for the rest of your life. And if you sign up to be part of the Marie Curie Cancer Care team we will provide you with unrivalled support, including training advice, fundraising tips, a free running vest, excellent on the day support from our cheer stations and a fantastic post-race party.
And you'll also get the benefit of knowing that with every step you take your efforts are raising funds which will make a real and positive difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families. Marie Curie Cancer Care also has a number of Gold Bond places which guarantees a place in the marathon.
