SWINDON star Billie Piper is in the running for a top theatre award.
The 25-year-old has been shortlisted for the Evening Standard theatre award for her first major stage role.
She received the nominated for the best actress prize for her work in the Christopher Hampton play Treats.
The winners will be announced on November 27 at a London ceremony, to be hosted by the actor Richard Wilson.
Other nominees for the awards include the musical Hairspray, former Star Trek actor Patrick Stewart and Charles Dance.
Billie is currently dating actor Laurence Fox, her co-star in Treats, and they are said to be tying the knot at Christmas.
