THERE is congestion on the M6 after an incident involving a car towing quad bikes.
Traffic is slow moving due to an accident on the M6 Southbound from Junction 21 A57 Manchester Road (Woolston) to Junction 20 M56 J9 (Lymm Interchange).
A trailer carrying two quad bikes had lost a wheel and the car towing it had lost control causing an oil spillage across lanes one and two.
Travel time is around 30 minutes.
All lanes have been re-opened. There are delays up to Newton-le-Willows.
