A MAN has received “life threatening injuries” after a fight in Faringdon Road.
Police have cordoned off the road between Maxwell Street and Park Lane.
In a statement, a spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Officers were called to a report of a disorder in Faringdon Road shortly before 6am.
“A 34-year-old male has been taken to John Radcliffe hospital as a result of his injuries.
“A cordon has been set up at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. There is not believed to be any immediate danger to the public.”

The force has not given any details of how the man was injured, only that his injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
