Hoardings and scaffolding have been put up around a recently closed gym in Swindon.
Kiss Gyms has been located at the Paramount Building on Princes Street since its grand opening in 2012 but suddenly closed for good on Sunday.
In an email sent to members on Friday, the fitness chain stated they would depart the site permanently and that the weekend would be its last in operation.
Now just days after the lights went off inside, grey metal hoardings have been erected outside of the building, covering some of the windows.
Scaffolding has also gone up towards one side of the complex with work already underway on the building.
A printed note has been left on the door, addressing former members with the same information and message that had been in the email on Friday.
“It is with regret that we inform you our gym at Paramount Building, Princes St, Swindon, will close this Sunday 26th Nov 2023 at 5pm pending new ownership,” the message read.
“We had hoped this would be seamless, but unfortunately this has not been possible, so the gym will remain closed until we have an update from the landlord.
“Our aim is to run out any paid-for time with the next operator, we will be writing to you to confirm this ASAP.”
